I went to visit my uncle in San Francisco when I was like 10. I remember this story/bad joke he told my brother one day when he dropped some change on the ground. He said: "You know what they say about San Fran, if you drop a quarter kick it all the way to the ocean." I didn't get it at the time. However, other than boasting a notorious gay population, the city has also blessed us with these dirty motherfuckers. God knows I've got mad respect for the Tenderlions for remaking Biggie's "Going back to Cali", plus in general they just make me want to DANCE. Thursday, July 10, 2008
